Physician Reimbursements

Healthcare providers may provide TeleMonitoring services for Texas Medicare & Medicaid patients under the providers current Texas Medicaid Provider Identifier (TPI). No additional enrollment is required to provide TeleMonitoring services.

Medicare & Texas Medicaid want to reduce unnecessary Emergency Room visits and hospitalizations of their patients. The goal is that through access to the most accurate real-time data, healthcare providers can help keep patients from excessively using these resources. Healthcare providers will set vital sign parameters for their patients, and will receive an alert from the AllHeal system when a reading is outside of these parameters. Providers can then take steps to correct their condition before it advances.

In order to decrease costs by helping patients avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, readmission, and long hospital stays, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)  have approved physician reimbursements for utilizing TeleMonitoring services across the entire state of Texas. Healthcare providers are eligible for Medicare reimbursements once per month, and Medicaid reimbursements once per week, per patient that is remotely monitored.

AllHeal TeleMonitoring works directly with Medicare & Medicaid to ensure eligibility of all patients that are qualified for RPM reimbursements before starting our TeleMonitoring services. We have streamlined this process to ensure reimbursements come with minimal time and investment to the healthcare provider.
